The Story

Bebop & Bubblegum

A 50’s/60’s Rockin’ and Rollin’ Chevy ride through some of the greatest Rock and Roll music.  Set in Dee’s Diner in Chicago, Illinois, we meet our romantic hero, Billy Rastapopouloukoudis, a good Greek boy who is about to marry his sweetheart, Veronica Jane at the Chapel of Love.  But it all goes slightly off kilter when Veronica dumps Billy at the altar and becomes his little Runaway!

Enter Norma J, the new kid on the block who instantly steals Billy’s heart (and he hers!).  Norma can’t Da Doo Ron Ron fast enough to make Billy her baby.  Mix in with this a talent contest for Diners that has the entire staff and customers of Dee’s Diner in a tizz, and you have the makings of a greasy hairspray kinda slick musical!
